Paints today are manufactured with very
high standards and quality controls that provide great
colors, performance, and cost-effectiveness. It’s easy
to get confused in the store because there are so many
different brands to chose from, each with a variety of
additives and enhancers. But in reality, there are only
three different grades of interior paint: low grade
(often referred to as professional-grade or
architectural-grade paint, used mainly in offices or
apartments where frequent repainting is standard
maintenance), medium grade (also called decorator grade,
a good choice for low-traffic rooms where thee is little
wear and tear), and high grade paint (a coat that once
dry has a film that is 50% thicker than that of a
low-cost paint; the result is a tougher, more durable
finish that resist fading).
The best paint balances price and
performance, and it should suit the project. We work
